Human Impact
Every second the size of a football field is cut down from the tropical rainforest.
Extinction- Many species live in the tropical rainforest. Right now the world is losing 137 species a day due
to deforestation, which totals up to 50,000 species per year.
Habitat Loss- The reason that causes organisms to disappear is the fact that they lose their homes through
deforestation.
Pollution- The ground, air, and water become polluted from mining which becomes harmful to species living in the rainforest.

Keystone Species: Orangutan
They disperse seeds and keep diversity in the tropical rainforest, thats why they are considered a "keystone species." Also, the oragnutan is endangered so if they eventually go extinct then that could effecet other species abundance in the rainforest as well.
